When you confirm a booking, your payment is held securely in escrow by Stripe — one of the world's most trusted payment processors. Funds are never released to the creator until they deliver your files. You're fully protected until the job is done.

Creators receive their earnings automatically the moment they mark delivery complete. Funds are transferred directly to their connected bank account via Stripe — no waiting, no chasing invoices, no manual steps.

Every creator goes through an application and review process before appearing on OneGuild. We review their portfolio, category, and profile to ensure they meet our standards. Not everyone who applies gets approved — quality is the priority.

The platform fee is already embedded in the creator's listed price — clients pay exactly what they see, no surprise charges at checkout. The fee is 9% for bookings up to $500, 8% for $501–$1,500, and 7% for $1,500+.

OneGuild has built-in messaging so everything stays in one place. No need to exchange phone numbers or personal emails — just open the conversation directly from your booking page.

Creators can upload photos (JPG, PNG, and more) and videos (MP4, MOV, and more) directly through the platform. Clients can preview everything in their booking and download it all as a single zip file.

Yes — if the creator has a cancellation policy set on their profile, you can cancel within that window (e.g. 3 days before the event) for a full refund. The refund is processed automatically and typically appears within 3–5 business days depending on your bank. Outside the cancellation window, refunds are not available, so we strongly encourage reaching out to the creator via messages first — most situations can be resolved with a quick conversation.

Clients can submit one reschedule request per booking, as long as it's within the creator's cancellation window. Before submitting, we highly recommend messaging the creator first to agree on a new date — this makes approval much faster and avoids unnecessary back-and-forth. Creators can also initiate a reschedule request at any time, which the client then approves or declines.

If a creator cancels a paid booking, you'll receive a full refund automatically — no action needed on your part. You'll be notified by email and in-app, and the refund typically arrives within 3–5 business days. We encourage creators to use the reschedule feature instead of cancelling whenever possible.

Most scheduling conflicts can be solved with a quick message. Cancelling a booking is irreversible and can leave both parties scrambling — a reschedule request is almost always the better option. OneGuild's built-in messaging is right there on every booking page, so there's no reason not to reach out first.
